Surveys | Live Polling - collect feedback

Ask questions and find out what people think about your event in the real-time voting

Survey component has 3 main aims:

  • collect feedback forms
  • organize live polling

You are able to view real-time results and export response reports.

In order to create your first draft click 'Add Survey'. Type its name and decide whether you want to display results to users. Now your draft is ready-to-use and you can move on to questions. If you want a survey to be available to app users, set 'Published' gap to yes.
PROTIP 1: A description is visible only to admins. It is for your staff to understand what is the purpose of the voting. You can also type a release time and any other important details.
PROTIP 2: Prepare as many drafts as you need in advance. It saves lots of your precious time during the event.
PROTIP 3: Decide if you want to display real-time results on attendee smartphones. (Recommended for live polling.)

Let's move forward to questions. There are 4 types of questions:
1. open
2. closed
3. single-choice
4. multiple-choice
​ Each questionnaire may contain a mix of question types.
How to create an open question?
Go back to your list of drafts. Choose one of the titles and click 'Edit'. Now you need to click ' Add question' button. Type your question in the 'Question 1' field and add 'Answer 1'. Leave this gap empty. Attendees will write their own answers over there. In order to ask another one, just press 'Add question' button. When you have all questions in place click 'Save changes'.
PROTIP 4: You are able to edit your drafts later.

How to create a closed and single-choice question?
Click 'Add question' button and type your question in the 'Question 1' field. Set 'Question type' as 'single choice' and add answers for users to choose from. Just click 'Add answer' and type possible option in 'Answer 1' gap.
Create as many replies as you wish.

Made a mistake? No worries. Just click 'Remove question' button to delete a given record.
Remember to always save changes at the end.

You can also prepare your surveys in advance and use the scheduled publishing feature.
Create the survey and select the exact date and time when it will automatically become visible for users in the app:
In case you would like to rearrange the surveys order on the list, just use the drag'n'drop option and move them up or down.
This order will be directly reflected in the mobile app.

​PROTIP 5: Remember that you can send push notifications redirecting users to a survey component and boost conversion rate.

It is possible to export survey results to CSV file. You can either choose to export individual users responses or plain results only.
