The News Module is your virtual notice board. It lets you quickly pass on the most important information to participants before, during, and after the event. Posts are visible synchronously in the mobile app and on the event page (Landing Page).
As an administrator, you have full control over what you publish, when you publish it, and in which thematic channels. This is the main place where participants will get up-to-date operational and marketing information.
Log in to the admin panel and go to Create → Content → News.
Click the (+) Add news button.
Fill in the required fields:
Name (Channel): Specify the topic channel (e.g. Main channel, Logistics, Contests). This will make it easier for participants to filter the content they’re interested in.
Title: A concise post title (e.g. Ticket sales have started!).
Content: The actual message for participants. The news content can be edited later.
Image (Optional): Upload a graphic that visually complements the post and grabs attention.

If you want to immediately add another post to the same channel, click (+) Add new message at the bottom of the form (you don't have to go back to the main menu).
Click Save changes, to publish the content.

To make sure your News looks professional on every device, stick to these guidelines for the photos you add:
Aspect ratio: 16:9
Resolution: 72 ppi
Maximum file size: 10 MB
If for some reason you want News to be visible only in the mobile app, you can hide this module on the website:
Go to the Landing Page Editor (bottom right corner of the panel).
Find the News module.
Turn it off using the It is enabled switch.
The Landing page configurator lets you manage:
the color of the whole section
changing the header
the colors of individual news elements
setting a URL that directs straight to a selected news item – especially useful when sending ads from social media to the page 🙌🏽

For the participant, the News module is the official source of truth about the event, available in their pocket (app) and in the browser (Landing Page).
Everything in one place: The participant sees posts in a clear timeline, from newest to oldest.
Filtering by channels: If the Organizer has created different channels (e.g. Main Stage, Afterparty, Getting there), the participant can filter the timeline to read only what they care about at a given moment.
Clear cards: Entries are shown as neat cards with a photo (if one was added), which makes it easy to quickly scan the most important announcements.

Monetization and Sponsors: Use News to publish sponsored articles. Inform participants about your key event partners by adding their logos in the graphic and redirecting attendees to their profiles in the Exhibitors / Business Hub module or to their external websites.
Gamification and Contests: Announce the rules of your scavenger hunts here (e.g. for the Scan & Collect module) or quick contests with prizes to be picked up at a specific booth.
Crisis management: Room change? Session delayed? A short, to-the-point post in the Important announcements channel will quickly inform everyone who needs to know.
Unique links: Every news item on the Landing Page generates its own unique URL. You can copy it and drop it into a post on LinkedIn or Facebook, driving traffic straight to your event page!
Have a great event with Meeting Application!
