Photo booth (Event gallery) is a module that lets participants of your event create a shared digital photo gallery directly in the mobile app.
It’s a great tool for generating natural engagement (User Generated Content). With the Photo booth you’ll encourage participants to share their best moments, run a contest for the most interesting shot, and build a community around the event, while protecting their privacy at the same time (photos stay in the app’s closed ecosystem, and not on public Facebook).
Don’t let those photos go to waste! Encourage participants to actively add pics (for example by announcing a contest with prizes from the stage or via a PUSH notification). After the event, download the full pack of photos and turn them into a souvenir collage, a summary video or a photo mosaic that you’ll send to participants in an email thanking them for taking part. It’s fantastic and free marketing material!
To launch the module, go to the admin panel and open Create → Content → Component list and add the Event Gallery module to the app menu.
Then click the added module visible on the left side of the screen and configure its Welcome Screen. This is a really important step – this screen will be shown to every participant when they first open the gallery and it will set the tone for the whole fun.
What’s worth putting on the welcome screen?
Title: A short and catchy tagline (e.g. "Let’s build an album from this trip together!").
Description: Explain the purpose of the gallery. Build context and encourage people to join in. If you’re running a contest for the photo with the most likes – make sure to write the rules and prize here!
Graphic: Add an attractive illustration or graphic that matches the visual identity of your event (e.g. with a camera theme) to make the welcome screen look more appealing.

For events with a large number of participants, constantly monitoring the gallery by the organizer can be difficult. The photobooth has a built-in self‑moderation mechanism.
In the admin panel (in the Create → Content → Event Gallery tab) you’ll find a toggle: Hide photos that have more than 3 reports.
If you turn it on:
Participants will be able to report photos they consider inappropriate or violating netiquette.
A photo reported by 3 different people will be automatically hidden in the app for other users.
The photo is not permanently removed from the database, just hidden – as an admin you still have access to it and you make the final decision.

During the event and after it ends, you can fully manage all collected material.
Go to the Manage tab → Event Gallery.
Sorting and browsing: Here you’ll find a list of all added photos. You can sort them by, among others:
Author name (A-Z or Z-A)
Submission time (from oldest / from newest)
Number of likes (from max to min – perfect for quickly picking the winner of a photo contest!).
Downloading the package: In the top right corner there is a DOWNLOAD button. After you click it, the system will pack all collected photos into a single .zip file and start downloading it.

From the participant's perspective, using the Photo Booth is extremely simple and intuitive, similar to popular social media apps.
Login requirement: To be able to browse, add photos, and give likes, the participant must be logged into the app.
Adding a photo: The user clicks the “+” icon in the bottom right corner of the module.
Camera or phone gallery: The app will ask for the photo source. The participant can take a new photo with the camera directly from the app (great for capturing the “here and now” moment) or choose an already taken photo from the private gallery on their phone.
Interactions: Added photos appear on a shared timeline, where other participants can browse and like them.

Deleting your own photos: If the author decides they want to delete their photo, they can do it at any time. Just click on the photo, then on the three-dots icon in the top right corner and choose the delete option.
Reporting another author’s photos: After clicking on the three dots in the app, the user can report another author’s photo if they consider it inappropriate.
