Before you start configuring event consents, prepare .pdf files specifying: Privacy Policy and Terms of Participation in the Event. If you are organizing a ticketed event (paid or free), the system will also require the inclusion of Terms of Ticket Sales.
NOTE!
To verify the accuracy of the documents you created, especially the Terms of Ticket Sales and Add-Ons, confirm the content with your lawyer. Keep in mind that every sales process and return policy is an individual matter.
In the CREATE ā ACCESS ā CONSENTS section, you can configure:
Privacy Policy
Event Terms and Conditions
Ticket Sales Terms and Conditions
Any other consents you wish to collect during registration
Open the edit field of the selected consent, then:
Enter the name of the consent or informational clause;
Import a previously prepared file, to which anyone who wants to learn more will be redirected;
Create the content of the consent/informational clause that will be displayed to Participants of your event for reading or acceptance.
Don't forget about the hyperlink to the file! You can create it yourself using {brackets}
E.g.: I have read the {Event Participation Rules} and agree to its terms.
Ready? Then PUBLISH and move on to the next consent required by the system. For convenience, we've marked them with exclamation points so that nothing gets missed.
ATTENTION!
The Obligatory* switch is always turned on for system-required consents. When creating your own consents, for example, marketing ones, you can decide whether it will be mandatory or optional.
Does the content of the consent shown to the participant seem long, and you want the entire text to be visible only after expanding it? Click the toggle to enable a clickable "button" in the text, and then fill in the required fields.
These are documents defining the terms of participation and the rules applicable to your event. For smaller events, it sometimes happens that this is one and the same document. Our system allows you to import the same file in both places, but remember that your Participants will still need to click in both checkboxes.
For larger, more complex projects, we recommend preparing two documents defining the terms. When selling tickets, take into account price variability, discounts, refund options, or the possibility of transferring the admission ticket to another person.
PRO TIP! Remember that our system also allows you to sell products and services that can be collected on the day of the event using a unique QR code! So if you plan to sell add-ons, e.g., t-shirts, books, or access to online courses, confirm the compliance of the terms and conditions with a lawyer! We, as the Meeting Application, are not responsible for their content.
You can use our drafts and tailor their content to your own project needs:
To add custom consent, open the dedicated window by clicking CONFIGURE YOUR CUSTOM CONSENT.
Next, fill in all required fields marked with * and PUBLISH the consent.
The consents that have just been created will be displayed on an interactive Landing Page, during ticket sales, and during the first login of Users to the Mobile Application.
Have a successful event with Meeting Application!
