Reception Module vs Check-in
When selling tickets or running free registration on the Meeting Application platform, you've got two ways to check tickets on event day.
Check-in Module - lets you check entry tickets using the mobile app installed on an Android device (tablet or phone), where you're logged in with your event admin account. This module doesn't let you print name labels and is available as part of the basic plan.
Reception Module - available for any admin logged into the mobile app on an Android device, using a special app version that lets you connect your mobile device to a printer. This module lets you verify tickets and automatically print labels.
Reception requirements on the event day
To make sure reception works right and the devices can print name labels, you need to provide:
dedicated, closed wifi network - simple network name and password, e.g.: SSID: MeetingApp; Password: Acbad221!
reception desks/tables (if there are any, already marked with lines like speaker, media, attendees, etc.)
trash bin at each station (for label strips)
electricity: 2 sockets / station (tablet and printer)
ID and lanyards (label size is 38mm x 90 mm)
