Redirect to a selected Landing Page URL

Want your event page link to look different than the default one generated by Meeting Application? Just follow a few easy steps and you're done 🙌🏽

Default Landing Page link for events in Meeting Application

To redirect your domain (e.g. moje-wydarzenie.pl) to your event website generated by Meeting Application (e.g. https://landing.meetingapplication.com/event/your-event-name), you just need to set up a domain redirect.

301 Redirect (permanent redirect)

This is the easiest and most common method, and you don’t need any action from the Meeting Application team.

First step — buy the domain you want to redirect from.

In the domain management panel set up a 301 (permanent redirect) to the event address in Meeting Application.

You can get the event address in Meeting Application by logging into the Admin Panel and clicking the LP link available in the dropdown on the right under Live Preview.

To sum up:

1. Log in to the management panel for your chosen domain.

2. Find the Forwarding section (sometimes “Forwarding”).

3. Set up the forwarding:

   • From the chosen domain

   • To the Lp address in Meeting Application

   • Type: 301 (permanent)

Important: This method doesn’t keep the domain address after the forwarding – after users click the link, they’ll see the destination address in their browser, e.g.: https://landing.meetingapplication.com/event/nazwa-twojego-eventu
